About Me

Minister Brandon Jermaine Howard is a native of Buffalo, NY, and the youngest child of Juanita Pearson and Donald Howard and brother of Charisse Howard-Brown.

Brandon accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday 1990 at the age of 18 and 

was baptized at St. John Baptist Church by the late Rev. Dr. Bennett W. Smith, Sr. Minister Howard's life reflects the heart of a man who loves the Lord. 

After graduating college from Rochester Institute of Technology and serving in various lay ministry roles, Brandon accepted God’s call to preach the gospel in 2010. In 2012, Brandon was licensed to preach by Bishop William L. Sheals, Senior Pastor of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Norcross, GA. In 2017, Brandon was ordained by Bishop William L. Sheals.  Additionally, Minister Brandon served in various ministry roles at Hopewell Youth Ministry including director and assistant youth pastor for six years with the Hopewell Teen Ministry and serving as an assistant minister and leader of the Hopewell Minister's Ministry Administration Team.  

Minister Brandon has earned his Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Ministries at Liberty University via Liberty’s Online Seminary program in May 2021. Minister Brandon is also the producer and host of the Life Pour Podcast.

Minister Brandon currently resides in Mauldin, SC and is married to Dr. Tamika S. Sterrs- Howard.  Minister Brandon currently serves as associate minister at Poplar Spring Missionary Baptist Church where Vardry Freeman is senior pastor. 

Brandon’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good 

to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Brandon’s personal philosophy of leadership is that of servant leadership. Brandon believes that a leader is an individual who willingly puts the service of others before their own needs. Brandon believes that like Christ, he came to serve and not be served as Jesus said in Matthew 20:28. Brandon’s statement of purpose is to spread the Word of God and the love of Christ to the world. The scripture reference to Brandon’s statement of purpose is Matthew 28:19-20. 

Minister Brandon is known by his peers as a humble man who loves God and loves God’s people. His vision is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and show the love of God to a dying world. Brandon has a heart and passion for seeing all people, especially his family and friends come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
